Nationaliteit: Sweden
Positie: Striker
Geboren: 20/9/1971

Larsson signed for Celtic in 1997, after taking Feyenoord to court with his right to move clubs.
He recovered from a career threatening leg break against Lyon, and won the European Golden Boot in 2001, scoring 53 goals for Celtic. He has played for Sweden at international level, winning 60 caps.
Larsson was the highest paid footballer in the Scottish League, on £42,000 per week, but 123 goals in 157 games would suggest that he was worth it.
Larsson joined Barcelona on a free transfer once his contract expired at Celtic. He came back to his old stadium in the Champions League first leg and scored the third goal of Barcelona's romping over Celtic which ended with a 3-1 score line.
During the much awaited match against Real Madrid, Larsson tore his knee ligament which put him out for the rest of the season, and possibly the rest of his career. The match ended with a 3-0 win for Barcelona. Barcelona offered Larsson a one year extension to his one year contract despite his injury.
